Backstory

Bilby happily riding a bicycle with swirly lollipop-patterned wheels
The very first ride. 🚲

Legend says Bilby began life as a single swirl of rainbow sugar at the very centre of Lolly Wonderland — a candy-coloured world where the hills are gumdrops, the rivers run with fizzy soda, and gravity is more of a polite suggestion. One day the swirl spun a little too hard, popped loose, sprouted a squiggly antenna, blinked twice... and Bilby rolled off to find trouble.

The great zoom-out 💥

Here's the thing nobody warns you about being born in Lolly Wonderland: it happens fast. Bilby came into the world with the throttle already pinned — he "zoomed out" the very moment he arrived, ricocheting off every wall, ceiling and gumdrop in the room like a sugar-powered pinball. By the time he finally bounced to a stop, his torso had... well, it didn't quite make the trip. To this day Bilby is just a cheerful round head with a swirly antenna and four trusty stick limbs — and honestly? He wouldn't have it any other way. Less to weigh him down on the big jumps. Born at full speed, no torso required.

The lollipop that started it all

Early on, Bilby stumbled across an enormous swirly rainbow lollipop glowing at the top of Sugar Peak. The moment he grabbed it, the whole Wonderland lit up in colour. From then on the lollipop became his trademark, his good-luck charm, and — on at least one occasion — a perfectly serviceable steering wheel. Wherever Bilby goes, the rainbow follows.

From wobbles to wheelies

Bilby's first ride was a humble bicycle with wheels that looked suspiciously like two giant lollipops. He fell off. A lot. But every tumble taught him something, and the wobbles turned into wheelies, the wheelies into jumps, and the jumps into the full-throttle stunt legend the Bilbyverse knows today. By the time he traded the bicycle for a roaring dirt bike, he'd already decided on his life philosophy: flip, jump, survive — repeat.

Becoming a legend

These days Bilby is the undisputed champ of the BILBY X3M circuit, launching off impossible ramps through clouds of confetti and danger signs. But ask him and he'll tell you the story isn't really about the stunts. It's about a little ball of sugar who decided the world was too sweet not to explore at full speed. And the best part? He's only just getting started.
